Photographing AJ and Stephanie for their mini maternity session was absolutely wonderful! My fall mini sessions offered on my property in Franklin, WI are a choose-your-own-adventure type of portrait session. You can include pets, do one for your extended family, focus on just your newborn, or in Stephanie and AJ's case - do a maternity session! We met just before sunset on a beautiful clear day (thanks weather gods!) earlier in November and had the most beautiful light. They also included their pup, which I love. Stephanie did a wonderful job with wardrobe, making things cute, comfortable, and simple. The only downside about the mini session is I always wish I had more time to get to know my couples and families! Take a look at these gorgeous photos below...
"Kelsey was a dream to work with! She was easy to get ahold of to make our appointment. Our session was right on her beautiful land and the lighting was phenomenal. And the photos turned out amazing, quick turn around time to receive as well."
Having Michelle and her adorable family over last week was such a great time. We did a family portrait mini session on my property here in Franklin, WI and got some fabulous shots! The mini session is amazing for kidlets under 4 years old because usually 20 minutes is all their attention spans can take. The mini session is a tried and true way of getting amazing family portraits when you are on a budget. I use four "stations" on my property that have cute little props or are just plain gorgeous thanks to mother nature. We spend about five minutes at every station, which keeps things active and moving for your little one. I like to get a little bit of everything - shots of you and your partner, shots of just your kidlets, and pictures of everyone together. I couldn't be happier with the way this mini session turned out and I can't believe I only have a few left this season!!
"We did a family mini session with Kelsey and the experience was wonderful! We received our pictures back quickly and she was able to even get some great shots of our almost 2 year old who didn't exactly want to cooperate during it ;) Highly recommended!" -Michelle H.
It was such an honor to take Kai and Kavery's maternity portraits earlier this fall. We had such a beautiful warm day for November - thank you weather gods. They chose to photograph their session on my property here in Franklin, WI. I love that they humored me and my pumpkin idea too. It's the perfect prop for autumn maternity photos! These two were so laid back and fun to work with and I'm so excited to meet this bundle of joy in the coming months. I can't say it enough, this little baby is the luckiest to have these two as parents. Click below to see more from this beautiful session!
I cannot begin to express the gratitude I felt working with Crystal and Anthony. This baby girl is the absolute luckiest to have these two as parents. Crystal contacted me in the early spring and was so collaborative throughout the whole process. She was also an incredibly good sport when the weather was not on our side the day of our session and we had to change all our plans last minute. Don't even get me started on all this crazy weather southeastern Wisconsin has had! Anyway, feast your eyes on this gorgeous lakeside maternity session in Racine. I couldn't be happier with these photographs!
Alison and Justin made the trek up from Chicago to visit me on my new property so they could get some rustic maternity portraits done - and man am I glad they did! The light we got on this day, which was actually the longest day of the year, was absolutely stunning. Alison chose the perfect dress for the photo shoot too. The way the flower print pops against all the green is so perfect! They went with the 40 minute mini session for their photo shoot, which is perfect for a no-fuss maternity session. Take a look for yourself!
Jennifer is yet another client that found me via Thumbtack! I have been absolutely loving this website as a Milwaukee based portrait photographer. Okay, enough about Thumbtack - on to the session! Jennifer and I collaborated on maternity outfits and props beforehand - she ended up bringing a book to use which was absolutely adorable. As for clothes we kept it comfortable and simple - only solid bold colors. We spent about 45 minutes downtown walking around and getting adorable poses. It was such a lovely session and I can't wait to meet this little nugget when she is born!
Hi! I'm Kelsey - cat lover, coffee drinker, and green thumb. I've been photographing people for over a decade and can't wait for you to take a peek around!
