I adored working with Rebecca and her lovely family for my fall mini sessions this year. All my mini sessions take place on my five-acre property here in Franklin, WI. Their two daughters were so well behaved and smart, not to mention full of spunk! We had gorgeous comfortable weather (thanks Wisconsin) and the golden hour light was superb. It's crazy how long the green leaves held on this year, as late as October 20th. Alas, we still got beautiful pictures, see for yourself!
"We had a fantastic photo session with Kelsey at her property. She quickly put us at ease, we got shots in at least 4 different locations with multiple combinations of the group. We didn't feel rushed at all and absolutely love the photos. We got them much quicker than promised and the same with the edited photos. We will definitely returning the next time we take family photos!" - Rebecca
Livie and her family live on a private lake in Muskego, WI, so when her mom asked if we could do the session at her place I didn't hesitate to say yes. We met up prior to the session to scope out all the spots that would work for the time of day and had tons to work with. This is a mandatory step if you'd like me to try a spot of your choosing for your senior portrait session. It ensures I know where the light will be at the time of our session so that I can get the most beautiful shots possible. We used Livie's backyard, we nabbed tons of shots along the private lake, and we even stopped at a nearby park for some architectural backdrops. I love this session, check out the portraits below!
"Senior pictures were beautiful, Kelsey was warm and very organized, my daughter was comfortable, received them quickly, I highly recommend. Plan on booking her in the future for my other kids and family pictures." -Jenni W.
Jimmy and his family were a total blast to work with (they even came back for family portraits!). We decided to go with Frame Park in Waukesha for Jimmy's senior portrait session. Jimmy was fairly straight-faced throughout his senior portrait session, which is totally normal for boys. I don't like to force people to smile so I always roll with it. When I told him his kitty could be in one of his pictures though, he was smiling ear to ear for the camera! I totally get it because I am obsessed with my cats. Working with Jimmy was so fun and I love the senior pictures we got.
This session was one for the books! Marissa chose to go with my property first here in Franklin and then Bass Bay Brewhouse along Lake Muskego for her second location. Little did we know a storm was barreling down on us out of nowhere!! Brandy, Marissa's mom, was such a good sport and held an umbrella over me while we photographed along the lake so I could get the perfect shot. I loved working with Marissa because she is a theatre kid and so am I. Her beautiful personality shines through in these senior portraits and I couldn't be happier. Scroll through to see for yourself!
Jamee was such a sweet senior to photograph. We had to race the impending summer storms on this session and her and her mom were so flexible! We started on my five-acre property here in Franklin for her first two outfits (which were adorable), then we finished up the session at Lion Legends Park with her final outfit. It JUST started to sprinkle as I took my final shots. Phew! I love this senior portrait session and I hope you do too!
