Cassi found me first through our farm stand in Franklin, WI - she is one of our best egg customers! Her and her son, Miles, stop by and pick up four dozen eggs nearly every week. I was overjoyed when she contacted me to do family portraits. We kept things super low-maintenance for family portraits with a mini session. 20 minutes is usually all little kids can give us before they get bored or too rambunctious. Taking photos on my farm is gorgeous, but also entertaining thanks to all the baby chicks we have bouncing around. Miles got to hold one and I think I made his year... I love the photos we got!
Michelle and her family are some of my favorite clients. They have the sweetest kids and we always have such an easy time getting great photos. Michelle opted for another mini session this spring to get updated family portraits. The Heintzs give my name out to all their family and friends and I am so honored that they come back to me year after year. All of my mini sessions take place on my farm in Franklin, WI. We had gorgeous weather and the kids were all smiles for me. I love the shots we got and I hope you do too!
It was such a joy photographing an in-home newborn session for baby Marley in Chicago. She was the absolute sweetest baby! I swear I've never had a newborn portrait session go this smoothly. Marley slept the entire time and even smiled for us. I only operate in-home for newborn sessions because it's what makes everyone most comfortable - mom, dad, and baby. We used the master bedroom and nursery for our backdrops and I brought a few simple props. Take a look for yourself at this sweet session!
It was so lovely getting the chance to photograph Jenna for her senior portraits in downtown Milwaukee. We immediately bonded because she is a theatre kid, just like I was in high school. For Jenna's senior session, she went with the Silver Package which allowed her two outfits and two locations. We walked along Water Street in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward for one outfit, and then along Cathedral Square for her other outfit. The overcast day was a blessing so we could get beautiful perfectly exposed pictures of downtown Milwaukee as a backdrop. Thank you Jenna for such a fun senior portrait session!
Photographing the Treu family was such a breeze. Melynda opted for the Mini Session Deal, which is a quick and easy session I offer in the spring for Milwaukee area families. I love that she kept wardrobe simple and comfortable for herself and her family. Working with her kids was so much fun - they especially loved our chickens!
This mini session had so much cuteness I could barely take it. Sara and her lovely family went with the mini session deal that takes place on my farm in Franklin, WI. We had the best time grabbing first-time portraits of their one-year-old daughter. 20 minutes is the perfect amount of time in front of the camera for young ones. I am in love with the candid snuggly quality of this whole session and I hope you are too!
I had so much fun photographing Rachel and her beautiful family on my farm here in Franklin, WI! Rachel opted for a 40-minute family portrait session where we spent the first 20 minutes focusing on the entire family and the final 20 minutes just on her 1-year-old (and his adorable stuffed lion too). Thank the weather gods for a warm sunny day - am I right?! The Chapmans were a dream to work with and their kids did such an awesome job smiling for their session. Take a peek for yourself!
Tess reached out to me in the dead of winter for some family portraits - a brave soul indeed. Of course, we had to reschedule a few times thanks to all the crazy snow we got in late April, but we finally got them done (just politely ignore the gigantic snow drifts in the background)! I even hauled my little white rocking chair downtown so we could get some super cute shots of their little one. We walked along Water Street in downtown Milwaukee for our family portrait session and got tons of adorable shots - check them out below!
Getting to do a dance-themed senior portrait session in downtown Milwaukee with Noelle was a dream come true! Noelle and her family came armed with tons of amazing ideas and poses - I adored collaborating with them. For this senior portrait shoot, Noelle decided to go with the Gold Package. With the Gold Package, she was able to do two outfits downtown, and then do a second location and final outfit that was more nature-based. I love how much variety we can get when seniors go for the two or three-outfit option. The downtown dance portraits are just as stunning as the ones we took on my farm - see for yourself!
Tyler was such a great senior to photograph. He and his mom were so laid back about the entire session and it was incredibly easy to get him to smile. We cracked a ton of FRIENDS jokes, talked about archery, and traipsed around Minooka Park. I love this location for senior portraits and will definitely be back for more. The big red barn, the winding paths, and all the mature trees make it a wonderful spot for posing. Tyler went with the Bronze Package, which is a simple one-outfit and one-location option that is fairly popular with the senior guys. Don't be fooled though- you get a TON of variety even within that 30 minute session. See for yourself!
